“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
God did make you special as it states in the verse and gave you purpose in advance. But God also gave you free will to which you can use to make your own choices for the direction of your life. God wants you to choose Him and His direction that He has for you, but the choice is inevitably yours to make. Using your own free will to choose to follow God’s path is what will truly make your special in His eyes. He longs to be your God and wants to call you, His children.
