Daily Devotion – Choose how your day will go! 🎤

Romans 8:31 NIV

“What, then, shall we say in response to those things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

We do not get to choose all the things that happen in this life on a daily bases but we do get to choose how we handle and process those daily happenings. When we wake up in a bad mood, we can choose to go throughout that day in misery, being upset or mad at the world or we can choose to understand that God is there to lean on.

Praising God and being in Gods word will help us to brush it off and move on with our day. Believe it or not this is true in the hardest of conditions. As the verse says, If God is for us who or what can be against us.  God’s daily blessings are worth more than any mood, any aggravation, or any bothersome person.

Gods promises help to us move freely throughout our bad days. God blesses us, not people or things. God will never disappoint us. Humans disappoint us. Things disappoint us. Bad days, weeks, months, disappoint us NOT God.

Lean on him. Trust in Him and move with God in your thoughts all day and see the difference in how bad moods can quickly change to a grateful heart. Pray everyday all day and be blessed. Understand that praying is not always stopping everything you are doing and bowing your head in silence. Prayer is talking to God and you can do this effortlessly all day long.

Great examples are: Answering your phone “God please guide my words”, Dealing with a teenage son or daughter, “God please grant me the ability to give mercy and grace for the things we are about to discuss”, Drive by an accident, “God please protect those in the at accident and Thank You for protecting me”.

These are just a few ways to talk and be in a relationship with God all day long. It’s changing our focus from the negative to the positive. It’s praising God and asking for guidance in everything we do and every aspect of our day.

Most people understand the struggle of choosing how your mood will be but it is actually possible, Try it!
